Techamor Y302 Plug in Natural Gas Leak Sniffer Detector

  • Y302 combustible gas detector is directly plugged into power socket to monitor constantly and can give out a visual and audible alarm when gas concentration is above 5% LEL. Alarm level ranges from 0% to 20% of LEL for multiple combustible gases including methane, propane, coal gas, town gas, LNG etc.

Description

Quick to know the product

  • [Multiple Gases Detection]: Y302  gas detectors are suitable for 24 hours gas leak monitor of methane, LPG (propane), natural gas, gas fuel etc.
  • [Precise Digital Display & Warning]: The detector precisely measures and displays concentration of leakage gas by an easy-to-read percentage from 0%~20% of LEL. View the concentration of combustible gas on the LED screen before it reaches explosive concentration level. Audible siren and alarm sounds when gas level reaches to 5% (LEL= lower explosive limit)
  • [Easy to Install]: Easy-to-install design. Y302 can be just plugged to power socket.
  • [Premium Quality]: Eco-friendly and V0 level fire-resistant ABS+PC material that complies with UL94 material flammability rate reduce the potential gas explosion risky and keep family numbers and poverty safety.
  • [Original Design & Technical Support]: we applied design patent and certifications to make sure the product quality and uniqueness. Free technical support directly from factory helps to resolve any questions you have.

Where and How to Install the Gas Detector

Directly plug into the power socket. Scientific and compact design leaves the 2nd outlet free for other devices.

How to use the gas detector

Step 1: Enter into 180s Warm-up period

  • 180s for warm-up process when power on.
  • During warm up process, short press TEST Button can switch language, default is English.
  • Don’t apply gas to test during the warm-up process because the gas won’t be detected.

Step 2: Normal working

  • Periodically observe the detector to make sure the Green Power Indicator is on. Press the TEST button, the three lights flash and there’s a voice prompt.
  • Test your alarm with butane from a cigarette lighter or propane source to make sure its function, recommend at least 1 time per 3 months.
  • Ocassionally, the data may skip into 1, it’s maybe enviroment humidity lead to the sensor tolerance. Don;t worry, it’s normal and will recover to 0.
  • Don’t paint, don’t apply abrasive solvents or other cleaners. Chemicals can permanently damage or temporarily contaminate the sensor inside.

Step 3: Alarm level ranges from 1% LEL(500ppm) to 20% LEL(10000ppm)

  • Pre-Alarm set point is 5 (= 5% LEL, 2500ppm).
  • The detector will give out a voice prompt and Red Alarm Indication flashes when the gas concentration is equal to or above 5.
  • Visual and audible alarm will continue until ambient gas concentration falls below alarm set point (5% LEL, 2500ppm).
  • When the gas concentration is more than 20 (=20% LEL, 10000ppm), the number on digital display will be changed into letter A.
  • Press the TEST button can mute/silence the Alarm noise, but red Alarm light will continue flash until gas concentration drops to normal status.

Step 4 : Get after service support when Yellow Fault Indicator Flash on

  • If the Yellow Fault Indicator flash on or Digital Display will show ERR (abbreviation of error), which means sensor has lost efficacy and can’t finish data collection.
  • Engineers on staff from factory help to answer any questions you have related to products usage of natural gas, propane, methane, and sewer etc.
