FAQ

A: Warming up ensures detector’s working properly and accurately.

Q: How to test functionality?(Very important)

A: 1.Use a disposable lighter to release gas (when releasing gas, make sure to extinguish any flames, otherwise any gas will burn and become undetectable)

2.Release the gas close to the alarm sensor position and continue for 6~8 seconds

Q: How to set up the detector to make it ready to detect?

A: Provide power to the product and wait for warm up. Please keep in mind that the warm-up process should be performed in a known ‘clean’ environment to achieve accurate results. Wait for the warm-up to finish before testing.

Q: Where to install a combustible alarm?

A: Different gases need to be installed in different locations. Natural gas is lighter than air, and combustible alarms need to be installed above the source of the leak. LPG is heavier than air, and combustible gas alarms need to be installed below the source of the leak. And try to get as close as possible to the source of the leak. However, due to the diffuse nature of the gas, you can also install the alarm slightly away from the source of the leak where there is a power source. But be sure to install it in the same room.
